People ask me what Maine Coon cat food I buy. I will tell you how I feed mine, and what I skip.
Picky
My cats are picky. Some will not eat canned food. Those same cats love dry.
That is not a habit I trained out of them. It is just who they are, and I stopped fighting it a while ago.
If you come from a house where one bag fed every cat, this will feel messy. It is messy. I would rather have three bowls going than one cat that will not eat.
Three kinds so everyone eats
I also feed raw. I keep dry, canned, and raw so everyone eats.
That is the real answer to what I feed. It is not one bag with one label on it. It is three options so nobody skips a meal.
You may not need all three at your house. You will find out fast which one your cat actually wants.
At my house the dry is Blue Buffalo kitten, left out all day. The raw is Blueridge Beef Kitten Mix in the afternoon. The canned is Fancy Feast, morning and evening. I still skip Friskies, and I watch who actually finishes a bowl.
The kitten day
I free-feed dry for kittens.
Canned or raw is 3 times a day.
So the dry stays out. The wet or the raw is the part that runs on a schedule.

They run through food
A Maine Coon keeps growing for years, and they eat like it. I am not going to invent a calorie number. I keep food down and I watch who finishes.
The coat is thick. In a Georgia summer that is the thing I watch, not a cold house. I do not put clothes on mine.
What I skip
I do not buy Friskies or food like it. That is the one brand I will name, and I name it as the one I skip.
Treats are fine. I do not feed people food. Treats have never caused me a problem here, and people food is where I draw the line.
